![]() ![]() I would have been better to skip a stop and offer a light dinner at the passengers cost. I get you want to give value for the price but there were too many stops. I'm guessing the stop is because the driver must have a break, not a break really for the passengers and we were all pretty surly at 9 pm after a 14 hour trip. We were all exhausted and starving, and the bus stopped at a bus stop with hideous packaged sandwiches and no place to eat them. The 4, rather than 5, stars is because the tour is just way too long-6 hours there and back and so many stops. Recounting the Normandy Campaign from the Allied troop preparations to D-Day on June 6th, 1944 and the liberation of Paris on August 25 th, the 2,300-square-meter exhibition includes military equipment used on the landing beaches, as well as an excellent film 'Normandy 44, a Decisive Victory in the West.' This film, combined with the exhibits. The movie explained in detail why that's a fallacy. The museum is well laid out and the movie on the days after DDay was a highlight because we always have the perception after DDay Normandy was liberated. ![]() My favorite part was the museum, the first stop, because it was comprehensive about WW2-you could either just visit the DDay part, the whole thing, or pick what you wanted to see. The guide was wonderful, very informative, knew a lot about the sites and had immense amounts of energy.
